I have built and lived in both production and custom homes so I know the building process. Production
homes generally have standard designs that can be modified slightly with options available from the builder. Custom
homes are custom designed and are more common in price ranges above $300,000.
Keep in mind that builders are happy to work with Realtors and since you are buying a home my services are
free. The following are the things I will do to help you through the process. Please also see the For Buyers section of this web site if you would like more information on the buying process and the For Sellers section if you have a home to sell.
Help you select the builder that best fits your needs. I get constant updates from builders on their
new locations, models, and spec homes available.
Meet with you and the builder(s) at the initial meeting and help you decide which features they offer are
best suited for you and the resale market if you sell in the future.
Participate with you at pre-drywall meetings and the final walk-through. I also check the home's progress
frequently during the building process.
Represent you with issues related to financing, inspections, and the closing process.
